Overnight Seorak Mountain!

We are planning a new high-endurance hike on Seorak Mountain on Fri. Oct 14th. As you know, Seorak Mountain is one of the Top 3 places for enjoying the fall colors in Korea, and this particular course is along the most beautiful ridge-line of Seoraksan, well known for its breathtaking beauty.


We will start at Osaek Mountain and hike up to the peak of Seorak Mtn (Daecheungbong). From the top, we may be able to see the sunrise! It takes about 3hrs from the Osaek to Daecheungbong (peak).

 At the Jungcheoung shelter, we will split into two groups. One group will go to Baekdamsa (temple) and the other to Gongryong (dianosaur) Ridge. The Gongryong (dianosaur) ridge course will take about 4 hrs longer than the Baekdamsa course, so this group will leave the Jungcheoung shelter earlier than the other. The Baekdamsa group will have more time to relax and enjoy the view. Please check the trail course to decide which group you want to join.

Gongryong ridge group: We ask that only strong members, ready for a challenge, sign-up for the Gongryong (dianosaur) ridge group! The hike is very long with ups-and-downs and fantastic views. We will be hiking at a fast pace in order to meet the other group at the base of the mountain(There will be a 15 hikers limit)

 We must limit the hike to 44 members. If there are less than 30 people signing up, this trip may be cancelled. So please hurry and sign up if you want to join.
